Are you kidding? He's super smart, very personable, handsome, and kind. The whole Leah Brahms hologram was way out of character - I blame the writers. I'm an actual human woman and I think Geordi's a catch!

Geordie is the incredibly competent and intelligent Chief of Engineering on Starfleet's flagship. He's also pretty handsome. Geordie is quite the catch, not someone who a woman would need to lower her standards for.

He's awkward when pursuing, like a lot of engineers, but he's quite the catch once he's comfortable.

Data only knows the sanitized version of events. He and Geordi mess around with a Holmesian mystery and Geordi's like "Why don't you check into the trail up ahead, Data? I'll hang back and follow up on this minor clue in this alley which happens to be filled with 19th century hookers."
