Federated social and, in particular, a better reddit will go a long way to helping us figure out better ways forward.

True, but it doesn't tell how active people actually are. This could just all be people who check out Lemmy and get bored after an hour and never come back. Active users per day would be a lot more interesting for short timeframes like this.

I am happy though that many people try out Lemmy, and I hope that many also stick with it.

Ah ok - could be a Jerboa thing too - can see Riker there, but it's a static image I Jerboa. Works on a browser though (as does my MP4, actually)

I knew it was time to give up when it was clear that they were not only hobbling old.reddit to drive people to newer versions, but they were also hobbling new reddit to drive people to the app lol
