Depending on the monk subclass you could dump Wis and rely on the barbarian's unarmored defense
Everyone needs Con anyways, so that's not as bad
Still doesn't really work well. I think 2 levels of monk is the best value you can get (+10ft. speed, bonus attack and 2 Ki points). Rest Barbarian for more punching.

Even us wizards are more likely to use CHA or STR as a dump stat rather than CON or DEX
