For that classic EverQuest experience come join Project 1999: https://www.project1999.com

Project Quarm just launched Kunark this month and will go all the way to Planes of Power! Single box only and very active development team!

Project 1999 is forever locked in Velious with no plans to ever launch a new server.

For me personally, Velious was the last expansion that still felt like "classic" EverQuest. Luclin introduced some pretty significant changes such as The Nexus and The Bazaar, that for me really impacted how the game world felt. If Quarm is just up to Kunark then it would definitely be worth playing there as well.

They'll have nine months of Kunark, nine of Velious, same with Luclin, then about two years from now, PoP.

I just didn't like the P99 stale endgame and first to engage mechanics for gear. Not to mention, if you started after 2019 you never got a chance to wake the Sleeper.

I never could get into Everquest because I played Asheron's Call. Back then it seemed you either chose EQ, UO, or AC and stuck with it.

But EQ was the biggest and therefore every MMO onward essentially used EQ as a foundation.

The thought of seeing someone shouting "Train!" still gives me nostalgia.

BTW, Everquest 2 just added a classic mode.

EQ is still going pretty strong, releasing new DLC every year and adding the DLC from 3 years prior to the free to play list. Theres 23 years of free content to play, though it may feel baron at times due to being top heavy

So the other night I logged into the somehow-still-going EverQuest (albeit in somewhat dubious free-to-play form) and sighed. It was the wrong account details. I forgot I had two accounts. The one I needed, the one with thousands of hours of gameplay tied to it, was lost to a now-closed email account and my inability to remember what the password had been.

It's fitting, I think. Out of all the battles in EverQuest that I conquered, this is one I can't win. It's probably for the best.

Might still be able to recover the account. Apparently there's also a manual process.

Have you just returned to EverQuest after some time? Has it been so long that you have completely forgotten your login info, email, or perhaps even your own name?

We may be able to help.

Automated Account Recovery

You can use the automated system to recover your account if you have:
