The straw that broke the camel's back for me is that the r*ddit API will not allow access to nsfw content.

However I have yet to find any porn in my short time here. Is this something that will come eventually? Or am I too stupid to find it?

It looks like Kbin can see from there but LemmyNSFW cannot see Kbin. Does anyone know why? I assume its a temp federation issue

Which kbin instance?

It might be a matter of the bigger magazines not having been added to the lemmyNSFW instance

If so, just search for the kbin magazine in question from lemmynsfw, and I assume it'll start federating

OMG. It's like a spoonful of frozen OJ. At first it's a bit odd, disturbing, even. Then you get used to it.

Reddit is banning porn? Wat didn't they learn what happened the other sites that tried it

[-] Ech@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

They're banning it for third-parties specifically. They know it drives traffic and are ensuring they get all of it.

Porn

They've been inching towards banning it for a while. When hardly anyone raised a fuss when it was effectively banned from /r/all they took that as a sign that when they take greater measures no one of note would care.

R/All I can understand not wanting porn but scrubbing clean Is going to backfire. Porn is the main reason most people use reddit After blackout it's good place to filter porn to find what you want.

Loads of it. Make sure you're searching all communities, not just local or subscribed.

I think the porn here ain't legit...

C'mon, don't tell me there are nerds like me out there, who happen to be female while letting me enjoy to watch their vulvas, right?! ... right?

[-] maggoats@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

You can find an option not to hide NSFW content in your profile settings!

If you sort by New on All you're guaranteed to come across porn.

[-] Waitwuhtt@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

When I made an account there was a "NSFW visible" toggle in the settings.
