more topical if the person beating her in the end is a cis woman of colour to add the misogyny and racism TERFs do while it’s getting olympic attention
Is this the loser who's still mad years after she was tied for second to last place with Liz Thomas??
It's The Onion
yeah, first thought the title used ‘drowner’ as a dig for being a bad swimming but it’s literal drowning as satire
I thought this was water polo lmao
I’m not really sure what point they are trying to make other than absurdism. They aren’t actually satirizing or criticizing the argument.
what argument, trans bodies are physically superior? Seems an absurd enough argument to begin with imo
I heard somewhere that all trans women can double jump.
the argument isn't worth a dignified response
Fair enough but imo it flirts with the line of not being able to tell which group it’s criticizing. I think you could see this video posted in right wing circles with them thinking it’s funny. It’s just a little too naval gazey about how silly the whole thing is without saying which part they think is ridiculous. Trans athletes are not ridiculous for existing
I think they're making a point about the perverse nature of violent sports. lampooning the fact that we are arguing over which people should be allowed to punch each other in the face for our entertainment instead of asking why that's even a thing in the first place
Finally someone spoke up
I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
