I mean, it's the obvious choice. So why not? Maybe we can do with the zoom on the cat if there is a better version.

Can't speak for the mod (/u/solaki) but I'm guessing from the sidebar, it's

[dedicated to] the international standard YYYY-MM-DD date format.

From which I take it's about celebrating the only true and practical date format. It certainly has some advantages over the competition!

I can say that I am both a strict adherent and a celebrator of that format but I am still perplexed over the notion of establishing a community for doing so, lol
