650 arrests in one night alone.
The French are absolutely willing to go to jail for what they believe is right. Seeing arrests happen doesn't deter them like it does at many protests elsewhere around the world, if anything it makes them fight harder.
Looking at the timeline of France since the start of the jilet-jaunes protests I'm really starting to think that the French might be the most likely european population to do revolution. Previously I had greece down as most likely but it's hard to ignore the fact the french have been in successive repeated battles with the state over and over for literally years now. They have a rugged and experienced population that is very used to going up against the state's enforcers, with many people that have been hardened after dozens of battles. At no point has it slowed down despite imprisonment of the most radical and violent who will eventually find their way out of the prisons and back in the fight. If anything it has accelerated.
And shit isn't going to get better, it's only going to get worse, which is only going to make the population of France more and more radical.
