Save you a click: they were a human ball tee, holding it during a kickoff, then leaving the field. Big deal.
Just watch Canadian football bro. 12 players on the field for all 3 downs.
I do not know enough about football or Canada to know if this is fake.
You wouldn't believe it, but it's all true. The field is 110 yards long and 65 yards wide. The endzones are deeep. You can run an entire route in the endzone. The players are much smaller because of the need for mobility around the larger field. Would recommend. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_football
Edited: a word.
Crazy. Does anyone ever run into the goal post(s)?
American football used to have the goal posts on the goal line. They were moved not because players were running into them but because they interfered with forward passing into the end zone. Rugby still has the goal posts on the goal line but they don’t have forward passing so it’s not surprising they haven’t moved them.
I must have missed this, why was it legal? I mean I've seen plenty of times where there has to be a holder but it was just one of the other 10 guys not an extra player.
Sports fans get excited over the dumbest shit some times. Good for them, I guess.
Id say this is just the networks hyping this fact more than the fans being excited for it.
