Problem: There are 2 broken visions for the world.

Sweeney: "That's ridiculous, I will fix that with my vision of the world that makes me even more money!"

Result: There are 3 broken visions for the world.

ETA: Reminded me of the XKCD competing standards comic.

Pan back to see line of visionary CEOs that can't wait to fix those broken visions of the world with an innovative idea that makes them even more money.

At best, they only ever live long enough to see themselves become the villain, except they're too delusional to see what they've become.

He has such a elon musk vibe. That whole "these other corporations are bad but i am a good corporate overlord! Pinky promise!". And say all these same statements over and over as if he is on your side, fighting for your freedom. All while trying to put his own epic branded straight jacket over your head.

Just piss off already...

'keep fighting on until there's an ultimate victory'*

  • (asterisk). "their ultimate victory"... the day Apple and Google gives the little shit they want for themselves, Epic return to be a good servant: exactly as they are for both Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo today. We get the stuff we want, then screw everybody else.

You didn't see Tim Sweeney that much active in the campaign for StopKillingGames: let's make sure only publishers, and the publisher we're happy with, to have political weight.

I vow to you, I will not rest, I will not sleep for an instant until I AM THE ONE rolling in their money piles. I should have that money, not them, me!

I hope epic fights and it brings change that everyone can use.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I want every party involved in this scenario to waste as much of their money as possible in this pissing match, Epic included.

Tim I'm against corporate control blah blah blah.

Great news there is this platform called Linux that could free you from the corporate over reach of Microsoft you could try to push in hopes of the future.

Nah don't see the short term money in it to justify it or to bother investing resources into it.

Timmy pushing Linux? He said in this Xit some years ago that installing Linux is like moving to Canada because you don't like political trends in the US.
So yeah, good luck with hoping for that.

Tim Sweeney is an asshole.

In 2020s dystopia the best plebs can get is a CEO of the multi million dollar company who is the "underdog"

🤡

All talk. No action.

This dude had a chance to compete with Steam and he just chose to try and squeeze profit before even having a product worth using.

He really thought Steam is just a store where people buy games.
