The handful of conservatives who aren't shitty people might be turned off by this, but I suspect that even for many of them it might be more a question of optics and how this'll affect their chances to win than any real disagreement with what Trump's saying
They have no cogent argument and not even any sort of consistent ideology. At this point all they care about is winning no matter what.
