How bout Danny Welbs? Dude found a home and looks great.

Yes, it's great to see him still in the top flight. Brighton seems like the perfect place for him - talented team, high energy, well-managed, and he can provide the squad with valuable experience.

He missed a sitter earlier in the game, but such is the way with Danny.

Lovely result and what a turnaround. Love watching Rutter play. He's got something of Mousa Dembele about him with his combination of physicality and close control, and the almost awkward way he can dribble but have the ball stick to him. Dembele used to be my favourite player so thrilled to have someone fill that hole - just waiting for Brighton to move him to midfield now!

Is Ange's job safe? in the last 35 games (excluding his initial run of 10 games) he has got less points in PL than Ten Hag.

In fact, going back 38 games, it's

United and Ten Hag: 58 points.

Tottenham and Ange: 59 points.

He's fine, this is just classic Spurs. The manager makes no difference.

I think it is safe. Wild to see those points stats since it does seem like EtH is doing much worse, maybe because of the style of play or lack thereof. Tottenham are very poor with set piece defending but regardless of the tactics whenever the players are running and getting into positions they seem to score and do well. Johnson is on a great run but some days he seems like a semi-pro player. Ange does seem stubborn with subs and when things aren't going well but most managers seem to have the same things said.

Wow, those stats are wild! I guess Postecoglu gets more latitude in the media because at least he's not publicly bearing his players and disrupting the changing room.

Also factor in that Ten Hag has managed to win a major trophy (FA Cup, last season). Whereas Postecoglu hasn't. Tottenham's last trophy of note was the League Cup back in 2007/08.

at least he’s not publicly bearing his players and disrupting the changing room.

I feel like your wording implies that Ten Hag does that and that's pretty far from the truth.
