I've been enjoying going out more in my 30s than I ever did in my 20s.

What changed things for you?

I absolutely hated going out in my 20s and have hated it more with every passing year. Nothing makes a "night out" any better for me.

Not the person you asked, but a big change for me was where I was going and, with that, who I was with. After I left one town, I became a major recluse, especially when everyone I knew wanted to go to the pool bar or a club. If was fun with the right people, on occasion, but I generally ended up not having a great night.

Lately, I've gotten back into theatre, especially little local groups putting on interactive shows and such. Been having an amazing time with it, met some great people, really changed how I felt having plans for a night.

Work less maybe? There's more to life than work. Only work as much as you have to.
