get the Americans to stop demanding Chinese goods first. tariffs will partly do the job by eroding purchasing power.

and where U.S. is spending more on military than next 9 countries combined, China is building twice as much wind and solar as rest of the world combined.

Last I checked (I don't feel like checking right now), it's plateaued and expected to start decreasing by 2030.
