Tarantino-style dialogues from the 80th Guards Tank Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces (military unit 87441):

-"Where are you from?"

-"From the hospital."

-"From the hospital? What did you mess up?"

-"I didn't mess up anything."

-"Then why are you getting beat up?"

Servicemen who return to the unit from the hospital are beaten by their fellow soldiers with boots and wooden planks. During these beatings, it becomes clear that the victims don't even understand why they are being assaulted. Regular beatings, humiliation, and abuse are the signature behavior of Russian officers. First, Russian soldiers are killed and maimed in Ukraine and then they are crushed by their. comrades in the rear. Apparently, the beatings will continue until morale improves.

How do you expect these guys to act human when they are treated worse than animals?

No sane human being wants to be on the trenches. I understand accepting that fate for a reason. To protect, or even money.

To be there as an attacker for a handful of rubles, knowing you're just disposable cannon fodder... Russia is porpoisly turning them mad. Sane soldiers would rebel.
