It is the same question that all Americans should be asking: If Social Security is “rife with fraud,” where is the verification in the form of indictments, arrests, trials and justice that pursues those guilty of fraud?

They can't find them because they're dead 🤪

To be clear: that was sarcastic (before I get lynched by an angry mob).

Tbf, even if they are dead, if fraud is happening, someone is collecting their checks.

And to be even fairer, the amount one person could be collecting is likely in the hundred, maybe low thousands.

This is like the IRS going after low income tax returns for claiming the earned income tax credit.

The investigation alone is going to cost several times more than the actual crime.

But then again, this isn't about fraud.

Also... You have to hide a body for this to work. Seems like a high bar to clear

I gave you an upvote. I was going to make a similiar joke.

"They can't find them? Have they checked inside the graves?"

its the missing link problem, "So common its everywhere" "Millions of examples anywhere you look"

but no one can show anything concrete except allusions, half truths and fallacies.

off topic: I cannot believe I've missed this (and apologies to Matt Furie who seems to loath maga/trump), but from the article image...

trump is...

a literal pepe doppelganger.

I don't know why, but I assumed when I clicked the spoiler, it was going to be:

Trump is...

.....an asshole!

I opened the spoiler and there was a picture of a fully exposed asshole
