A caste system at the very least

Yeah, bet this guy doesn't go to the factory floor when his term is over.

You will slave for your neo-feudal overlords or you'll be sent to prison, where you'll slave for your neofeudal overlords.

Or you'll die. That's okay too.

Let me get this right... They want to roll back regulations, protections, & pay but now want us to work at the American factories so that manufacturing can come to the US. At that point might as well go live & work in Vietnam, Mexico or wherever else. At least there inflation isn't as much as a problem so you can still afford a place to live.

You think you'll be allowed to leave?

That's what public education trains young minds to be. Builders and maintainers of the infrastructure.

...Which is not the worst thing in the world if they're treated and compensated fairly.
But they won't be, of course.

So pensionplan and healthcare for life right? You gonna roll back the rules we want the benefits.

Serfs get the benefit of living in a hovel on their lord's manor so long as they continue to work to expand their lord's fortune.

Or if they're not willing to do that, they get the benefit of a burial.

living in a hovel

That's more than I've got.

Best we can do is 1099 with pre-ACA "swiss cheese" cover healthcare including pre-existing conditions. As for retirement savings, we'll place 1% of your salary into our the trump memecoin, but it doesn't actually vest until you turn 65 so you can't sell it before hand. How does that sound?

That’s what happens when we lionize “job creators” because we think that is the same as “wealth creators”

I’ve worked in factories for the bulk of my life…be at your work station for a certain time, don’t be on the toilet too much, don’t talk too much, always be doing something even though you’re on target, managers or team leaders or whatever micromanaging you. It’s fucking wank.

heads in loops is the new new model.

What a shocker. The old way is new again. Too bad His forefathers sold it all down the river for profit in the 70's and 80's. They can only move in reverse. Kinda sad and somehow they think it will work.
