Too bad they force you to throw the food away now, supposedly to prevent this very thing from happening

If the customer and the employee are working together they could do this to steal from the restaurant.

Now I'm not sure why it happens over in USA, but in my country the reason we throw away our food is because of health and safety regulations and all that blah blah blah. Sometimes though you might be able to get a free meal
