Friends don't let friends write incomplete sentences.

Here take this "let" and enjoy the sunset.

That was a test. You passed

Apologies for being off-topic, and not to sound upset at OP, but is there a way I can disable whatever has been done to the post title from Sync or other Android app? (I assume it's because of the hashtag at the start.) It seems unfair that some posts should have larger text than others.

I guess the problem is, that the headline starts with a hashtag. Lemmy uses markdown formatting and writing this line here:

#hashtag in a sentence

Could be rendered as a heading (though you should have a space between the # and the word for most formatting libraries):

hashtag in a sentence

I bet Elon did "not see" that coming.

Ging for 100%

now if only we could ban them from circumventing the MASSIVE CROSS-INDUSTRIAL NATIONAL STRIKE, basically no swedish workers are even touching tesla cars, but for some insane reason it's perfectly fine for tesla to just ship them in via polish truckers!!

Its possible. you start touching them.... With torches.

can those celebrating this "success" please give me an answer to this researchable fact:

Tesla hat a production outage for several weeks to change their production to the more recent model. Therefore their most-sold car (even the best selling car in the world) wasn't produced at all for quite a long period of time. Right now however, all factories are back online and producing at previous numbers. There're no layoffs, production is not slowed-down, cars aren't stacking high (there were reports of cars being "piled" in a German port. Around 160 cars, to be precise - which is about the production the factory in Grünheide, Germany produces in a bit of an HOUR. And that port is known to gather and transport Teslas, BMWs and Mercedes to Scandinavia), therefore are sold again.

If the production is not affected, if the cars are still delivered - what exactly are you celebrating? The effects of a temporary production outage?

[–] Melchior@feddit.org 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Production of the Model Y in Grünheide started at full capacity in mid Feburary. Those numbers are for April. We have also seen sales declines from other European countries this April.

As for layoffs, Tesla just fired the entire supercharger team. He also fired workers on the Cybertruck production lines. In Grünheide they are withholding sick pay for workers to save money, which is illegal. All of that is happening in the last month. I would not be surprised, if they fire more workers soon.

you are aware the "supercharger" headline is from 2024?

additionally - though I do think it's a shitbox, the shitbox was/is the best-selling pickup in the US...

[–] Melchior@feddit.org 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Sorry, missread that. The Cybertruck was the best selling EV pickup truck in the US too.

fair - yet with the Rivian and F-150 Lightning quite a strong competition. And both of them were available long before the angled metal grinder on wheels was for sale
