My Adidas running app stopped working properly and I am struggling to find a good European replacement.

Any such lists already here that I failed to find?

FitoTrack is amazing. It has a really simple UI, supports various different activities, GPS data is very accurate and it provides very detailed statistics. Heart rate measurement is supported as well. No ads, no trackers, open source, available on F-Droid.

Polar Flow (finnish company, makers the best heart rare chest straps and decent fitness watches)

Fitotrack (local only, open source)

Open tracks (local only, open source)

That is about it as far as I know. The open source ones I don't know if they are European specifically, but that are open source so it doesn't matter as much.

To add to the other answers: There is Sportractive, not open source but European. Using it for nearly ten years now.

Normally I try using Open Source as much as possible but back then there where not that many options and I really like Sportractive so I stayed.

Nowadays they have some premium features but the main parts are still free. Also at some point a second (blue version) was created, no idea why I use the classic red one.

A running app that does what?

[โ€“] SunshineJogger@feddit.org 1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Track my running distance, time and pace, primarily

Seems basic enough you could code your own that does what you want how you want
