I actually invite you to boycott Croatia because:

Don't let this fool you:

Boycott us and say why are you doing that. Croatia supported genocide for too long. It needs to be punished.

So, Lemmy, will you boycott coming to Croatia?

As an American, I've never been. When I lived in Bavaria, though, it was an extremely popular vacation destination. I remember being rather shocked because it just never occurred to me that it had beaches and warmth, and wasn't really that far from Munich; I just had never in my life in the US met anyone before who'd gone there, that I knew about.

Yeah, Britts made us popular and Jared Leto rented a whole fucking island to himself and his cult, and all those bloody Instagram photos of (beautiful) beaches.

Of course, I hate tourism, it ruined our coast, but now I really want my fellow citizens to suffer because of our complicity in the genocide. Standing with Israel is being complicit in genocide, sorry.

Allegedly, we'll have a lot of Israelis this year. ๐Ÿซ

So many countries are complicit, though. At least your government isn't actually sending Israel weapons to murder Palestinian children with.

If you see some, make them feel as uncomfortable and called out as you can.

Have fun with it, might as well anyway. We could get more videos of the worst tourists on the planet.

Can't forget about Dubrovnik and the Game of Thrones fan.

Hell yeah I'm boycotting visiting Croatia this summer.

I might even boycott it for the rest of my life, along with most other countries. We'll see.

Why yes? Because I'm not planning to abroad very soon anyways.

I haven't even left my side of the country for longer than a week

croatia is under a ustashe regime once again.

[โ€“] Mantikora@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yup. And that's the irony about Europe. It was always a fascist nest.

[โ€“] Samsuma@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

fascist nest but the libs will try as hard as they can to make it seem like they're not at all related to fascism all while equalizing socalist state leaders to their own neocolonial, liberal leaders in an attempt to absolve themselves of their own depravity.

[โ€“] Mantikora@hexbear.net 1 points 1 week ago

Something like that, yes.

The Post-Balkanization Effect

[โ€“] Fleppensteijn@feddit.nl 2 points 1 week ago

I'll just stay away from there because it's becoming unaffordable.

There were a bunch of posters around the city recently thanking our country for supporting Israel, so staying home won't be much better.
