This has always been the point.
It has never been about which restroom trans people use, it was always been about being able to harass and vilify trans people.
The right doesn't want to just enforce gender binary, they want to erase anything and anyone that falls outside it.
American freedom is about getting arrested when peeing in the wrong public bathroom.
Don't expect any logic from regressives. What they want is not for trans people to use a specific bathroom. They want all trans people dead.

Thats only their current public agenda. Trans people not existing at all is their end goal though, and every step on that path they will keep going further until there are death camps
Trans death camps are not something I can envision in today's political climate, but if the west tilts irreversibly into fascism it's quite possible.

They dont care what bathroom a person uses. It's not about the restroom ... it's about legal harassment.
Also ... what the fuck are people doing to get gender checked and arrested? There is no law about obeying the gender sign (at least not in my state or any state I have been in). Is walking into the wrong bathroom a crime or something?
The bar owner harassed them personally. They charged them with trespassing and public intoxication, despite the fact they consumed no alcohol and were not breathalyzed.
Fuck these corrupt police, and fuck that bar owner.
Hopefully when MAGA falls out of fashion in 3.5 years there is still enough time for lawsuits and punishment.

I would consider arbitrary rules that are intentionally impossible to follow based on hate is very very dumb.

Changing only men's bathrooms is just asking for backlash. Just make every toilet an individual unisex half bathroom with floor to ceiling walls and doors. A toilet, a sink, and a mirror. No more silent mode shits, no more pee shyness. If raising the national minimum wage only made products go up by a few cents some bathroom construction loans will barely do the same. I'll pay an extra 10 cents for my burrito... Oh that's right they already have individual bathrooms. Airports, malls, amusement parks, stadiums, music venues? ¯\(ツ)/¯ get gud

I’m pretty sure that recent UK Supreme Court case ended up making it illegal for trans men to use any public restroom. My understanding is that it forces trans women to use the men’s but has a carve out saying that trans men can’t use the women’s.
