Can we stop calling them "commandos" I never see the media use that language for other countries special forces? It makes it sound like kids playing with action figures.

Maybe because commandos specifically refer to special forces operating from behind enemy lines?

I mean fair, but why not use the term "special forces"?

I guess my unconscious bias stems from the fact I can't remember the last time US media referred to US special forces as commandos.
