Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
I've done the 4 regional phenomena and all the geoglyphs, I'm clearing off some side quests before continuing (finishing?)
A friendly place to chat.
No politics please. Don't be a dick.

Not sure why but I bounced off of Tears hard. I played and finished Breath, but within 5 hours I'd had my fill with TotK.
Suspect it's a me thing more than the game.
Trying to play though ff16 but it's so difficult because it's so awfull.
It's not ff, it's not an RPG and the performance is terrible and the side quests are dull.
Im renting it and I may just send it back before even finishing it.
I've been playing disco Elysium, after the latest video from upisnotjump really enjoying it
@snake_case this is one of those games I bought on steam after everyone raved about it but I keep putting of starting it
Bloodborne on the PS5. Never played it before but after falling down the Elden Ring hole last year I'm slowly working my way through the From series. I beat Sekiro over Christmas, now I've got this in my sights.
Also thinking of starting up a smaller, less.... mentally draining game to play on nights where I just want to kick back and relax after the kids have gone to bed. Any suggestions?
Sorry but 'Elden Ringhole' lol.
As for relaxing games - Stardew Valley springs to mind. I really enjoyed Slime Rancher too, and there's now a sequel. If you want a game to just shut your mind off to, Diablo is good for that.
I've finally got round to playing Blasphemous on my Steam Deck. So much better than I thought it was so far.
I’ve been getting back into No Man’s Sky, I hadn’t played in a while so I’m trying to catch up with the recent updates. It’s always been a great chillout game for me, just exploring systems and finding odd new life forms.
A box has just turned up with My City: Roll & Write and Lost Cities (unintended city theme in this order), so I'll be playing those!
Currently playing The Last of us on PC. I wanted to play it on day 1, but it was a mess at the time of release. So waited till the updates had put it in a decent enough shape.
I haven't encountered any major bugs, just 2-3 minor ones. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. It's an emotional experience, like a movie which really pulls you in. Gameplay is also nice with subtle variations as I progress to keep things interesting.
And it's just beautiful. Definitely recommend
Vampire Survivors on my phone.
Addictive as hell. Completed 100%, now going through and completing every level with every character. about 25% of the way there currently.
I bought this on Steam during the hype train for it. 100% could not get into it, just didn't find it engaging or fun.
Oxygen Not Included. Now on a much more powerful PC than all previous times – maybe I won't have to abandon my duplicants when I get to the third asteroid and things get too laggy.
This game always gives me such a hard time. I watch guys like Francis John on YouTube and realize I don’t have an engineering degree to play it haha
I've started playing this on my deck, but am still at noob level.
Just now it's a replay of A Plague Tale: Innocence on Steam Deck; Aliens: Fireteam Elite; and mopping up achievements in Tomb Raider: DE.
Me and a mate also thought it would be a good idea to start Payday 2 seeing as though 3 is coming out soon... plot twist, it was not a good idea!
My 4 year old learned about Pokémon Go recently I started playing it again after about 4 year hiatus, haha I stopped playing about the time she was born 🤣
I got myself one of these little RG35XX handheld emulation devices for £60 and stuck on some custom firmware. I've been having blast. About halfway through a bug fixed Final Fantasy VI ROM hack, also playing some Zelda Oracle of Seasons and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.
That RG35XX looks neat. I'll pick one up. Thanks.
Yeah, I got it on a bit of a whim and wasn't expecting much. The stock firmware is poor, but GarlicOS is great. A wee bit of mucking about to get things nicely scaled, but I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Tears of the Kingdom every evening since it arrived. It's so good.
My steam deck is gathering dust somewhere, barely used since I got it!
I downloaded Hitman from game pass last night and managed to get an hour or so in. Haven't played a Hitman game in a long time so quite enjoyed it.
Otherwise it's been the usual rotation of Rimworld and Forza, but also very much looking forward to Cities Skylines 2. Not sure I've ever been this excited about roundabouts.
I'm still playing Deep Rock Galactic. It's on sale right now. Fantastic value for about £8 in my view.
Dead Cells, with the Castlevania DLC, on my Steam Deck. Good times
Spelunky2 needs completing but it's so bloody hard. Soulstone survivor is less frustrating so getting more play time
My bass.
Just started on the Mass Effect LE for the very first time - after spending waaaaay too long trying to make Shepherd look deccent, I'm finally underway and enjoying so far!
Playing wow only this time I'm making an army lol. Got dragonflight but seem to get to lol 60 and then think ill try a different class and delete my character. The gf plays he'll at me for doing this been doing it for the past year or 2 .
So decided make one of every class and level them all up
Dixit
I'm currently playing Forza Horizon 5 and NHL 22 on Xbox One.
I can't stop playing forza. I'm not usually a completionist in any sense of the word, but for some reason open world driving games really hook me in. Burnout Paradise was the last game I played to this extent.
