Last night at a town hall in Jonesborough, Tennessee, a woman shared her story: she was denied prenatal care by her OB-GYN because the doctor objected to the fact that she isn’t married. She’s been with her partner for 15 years and has a 13-year-old son.

The doctor told her that because she was unwed, they didn’t feel comfortable treating her because it went against their “Christian values.”

Now, she’s traveling out of state to Virginia to receive prenatal care.

There's no hate quite like Christian love.

"Pro-life" asshole won't care for an unborn baby because its mother is unwed. As if there were any more proof needed that being "pro-life" is really just an excuse to be a judgemental prick, this most certainly provides the final nail in the coffin against the idea that there's any other real reason for it.

These assholes need to meet their "God." NOW.

On one hand. People in rural areas don't have a lot of options for doctors.
On the other, you don't really want care from a doctor who doesn't think you should be getting it, and has to be forced.
