The language is awful. You can either do basic typesetting or meta-programming. There's no in between.
my engineering friends have told me it's pronounced latec. can't tell if trolling though ๐ง
Or Latech as the 'X' is suppsedly a greek 'chi'.
This makes sense and is probably what they meant
Latek, but the last letter is written in greek
From my time on reddit it always struck me as funny when some weirdo posted sex content on the r/LaTeX sub
