Als erstes Land in der Europäischen Union plant Griechenland die Einführung eines flexiblen 13-Stunden-Tags. Im September soll der Gesetzentwurf vorgestellt werden. ... Arbeitsministerin Niki Kerameus wirbt für einen 13-Stunden-Tag. Denn in Griechenland sind allein in der Tourismusbranche rund 80.000 Stellen unbesetzt. "Erstens ist es eine Möglichkeit, keine Verpflichtung. Zweitens muss der Mitarbeiter zustimmen. Drittens brauchen Sie so als Angestellter keinen zweiten Job", sagt Kerameus.

Aaahhh awesome, just say its not obligatory, even though soon enough companies will abuse it by only hiring those that will work 13 hours per day.

I wonder how long it will take to spill over to other countries. I mean, how are companies and even countries supposed to survive if a few rich assholes cannot abuse the working class?
