Wouldn't touch an Amazon-branded product with a 10 ft pole.

What about with an 11-ft pole?

Only if it's not an Amazon branded pole.

I have an old one, FireOS is Android isn't it? I have installed f-droid and several other APKs on it just fine.

Not too bad for a tablet I got very cheap second hand. Kinda considering something a little more powerful though but I don't really want to spend actual money on it. Unless there are any other good map apps out there that let you download maps? OsmAnd keeps crashing for me and I assume its running out of memory.
