Interview this morning, the seek post definitely undersold the role. One guy liked me, one didn't. Let's see what happens.

Mickey is getting his annual vaccination tomorrow, before he can stay at the cattery when I'm in Perth.

Ugh. Every time I travel to Perth, I always say I don't want to stay for a long time because I hate leaving Mickey and I'm a homebody. So why did I agree to three, almost four, weeks 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

2nd interview went ok. I was pretty nervous tbh so if it doesn’t move ahead that’s ok. But the guy did tell me what the next steps would be.

Fingers crossed but I’m still applying to other jobs of course.

My butt is being kicked by whatever is going on with my mental health. The fact that from next week onwards, 25+ sets of eyes will be evaluating my performance at least twice a day, plus the resources I manage to create, is scaring the shit out of me. I'm really worried about not having time to do stuff and not performing. I dislike that I get overwhelmed so easily.

But I am reminding myself that I can ask for ideas.

Last night, I stupidly ate a chilli in an attempt to unblock my nose. Today, I am reaping the consequences. Just an upset stomach. Nose still very much blocked. Yay!

Well that was an interesting drive. Had to navigate a set of failed traffic lights, two separate wheelie bins that had blown onto the road, and a small fallen branch. It’s windy out there, take care.

I totally misjudged my walk timing and got myself and Mr Woof very soggy.

I'm switching back to my old Huawei from my Pixel because I don't want to buy a new phone just yet. The Huawei feels so much nicer and it still works fine, I only got a new phone because the usb port was getting temperamental but I've cleaned it and it's working again now.

The Huawei actually connects to the Guest Wifi at work so that's a big bonus already. Using my phone here was a headache because it's a mobile blackspot and my phone would just stop pulling data on the wifi.

Everyone stopped selling Huawei because they knew they'd be too powerful if they were allowed to continue in the west. At this point I'd gladly degooglefy my life for another one.

The Kiffness is doing a gig at Northcote Theatre on Thursday 18th Sept. Have just bought tickets. Looks like very fun night.

I'll finish the painting today then it's on to sewing the curtains and clothes repairs 😊

yay, the painting of the bedroom suite is done. Five pieces of furniture , scrubbed clean, sanded , repaired, then four coats of paint. The chair has been reupholstered, the drawer handles repainted a silver gold colour and all the drawers painted inside and lined with contact.

Debating on going into office tomorrow and having Thursday and Friday WFH.

Alternatively, WFH tomorrow and Friday, come in Thursday.
