Serious question. I'm vaguely familiar with him as a political commentator on the left, but the more I see of the guy, the more I think he's just a liberal.

As much as I like PSL and how good some of their branches are, they sincerely need a shakeup in the national leadership. Too many claims about SA, grooming, and not listening to trans comrades. Then there was that incident a few months ago where Gloria la Riva took offense to being called a cis woman in an interview.
Cornel West is at least vocally pro-Palestine and BDS, which is more relevant than a dead president and a dead country. I don't think he's a socialist and I don't think I'll vote for him, but he's better on international issues than any elected official in America so I don't think think this "cancels" him.
