A Community to talk about Music from the Australian perspective.

Telling stories of Australia through music.

With few exceptions, Australian acts are permitted to have one hit in the US charts, then fall out of the international limelight.

Those acts however often have lots of other cool songs!

There are also several Australian acts that just aren't famous globally.

These guys are amazing musicians. Now for nearly the cost of one CD in the US, you can own almost their entire discography in FLAC, no DRM. Anyone who wants to give this band a try is in for a real treat!

Agreed, but I'll just note that those giving this band a try should try songs from across a wide variety of their albums. These guys have made music ranging across a bunch of genres and you'll probably end up with some albums you like and some you're less keen on.

This is an absolutely phenomenal band. I listen to Murder of the Nonagon Fuzz on repeat when I work out.

I hope people listen to them and we don't get a Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster situation all over again

I could have supported this but bandcamp is American...

Could you suggest any alternatives?

I'm a fan of CD's try pdoomrecords, it's their own publishing company.

Their music was already free, if your cool. I still appreciate them making it official at least, although I'd rather get a shady .zip file from the band's website more than anything.
