Hey guys,

I'm sad. I absolutely love this mouse (best replacement for the Rival 310 I could find) but a firmware update seems to have rendered it nearly unusable. I was using it without the Basecamp software, but I wanted to change a couple things so I installed it. It said the mouse needed a firmware update, I said yes, it updated fine, then it won't detect the mouse anymore, the scroll wheel quit, and sensor is acting weird, and the LED turned off. I am hoping it's not ruined.

Does anyone know a hardware factory reset I can do on it?

Solution has been found! I had to email support, and they sent me a small program to reflash the firmware! I would post it here, but the link shared with me is only accessible by me. It's only a 1 MB program. If someone has a good spot I can share it on, let me know.

For anyone out there - even though you can see the mouse in Basecamp through passthrough on virtualbox on linux, DON'T try to update the firmware from there. You will need to boot to an actual windows install.
