I feel like this story runs about monthly now, when will we get a lasting admission Ukraine cannot win?
seems like we are inching towards the acceptance stages of grief in western media
Probably soon. Looks like the West is starting to distance themselves from Zelensky with the recent scandal. The government might be headed for a complete collapse.

Unfortunately the left in that country is essentially completely broken. The most you have there are a few pro-Russian partisans operating deep underground. The rest are either in prisons, have fled the country, or are already fighting in the Russian army.
The only way you get a revolution in Ukraine now is if the prisons suddenly get emptied, Syria style. And only if all the leftists there have not already been tortured to death.
As for a Nazi takeover, you don't need to worry about that happening because it's already happened. The Nazis are already in charge. The intelligence service and the internal police forces are all top to bottom staffed and led by Nazis, most of the higher ups in the military are Nazis, the educational and culture ministries are thoroughly Nazi, the judiciary is mostly Nazi, and the state controlled media (which is all media in Ukraine since 2022, by presidential decree) is also heavily infested with Nazis.
I would say that the only branch of power in Ukraine not yet fully taken over by Nazis is the political and administrative elite (though there are also plenty of Nazis there too), and only because their only ideology is theft, corruption and self-enrichment.
However, the good news is that the regular everyday Nazi footsoldiers are being steadily eliminated at the front, if not as effectively as one would like because the dedicated Nazi units, the so-called "elite" units, are mostly operating as blocking and punitive detachments pushing and keeping the hapless conscripts in the trenches. The rest will flee like rats leaving a sinking ship when the war effort collapses, because they know what awaits them if the Russians get their hands on them.
They are so fucked. Holy shit. After the war ends, Ukraine will economically break the EU - I see it.
That's my expectation as well. Whatever is left of Ukraine is going to be a proverbial albatross around the neck of the Europeans. They either have to keep pouring untold billions into propping it up, or they face a huge refugee crisis.
