The developers of what? Is this a project to get Linux running on iPhones?
This is the tally of how much I had donated to the developers of mobile Linux distros and apps.
Ohhhh I get it now. Got any favorite devs/distros/apps to shoutout?
I also need my next phone to be a Linux Phone, so I'm into this strategy.
Distros: Graphene, Ubuntu Touch and Postmarket OS.
Apps: Waydroid, Fdroid, Timeout, Cinny UT, Podcat, Pure Maps, uWolf, KeePassRX and Syncthing.
Nice, I'm already donating to some of those but there's plenty I've never even heard of. Thanks!
What is this? How do I donate?
It’s my custom amount in the app counter.
This might be a good place to ask:
- Where do you donate to?
- What might be some good areas to donate to for Linux phones? What are some important small projects that desperately need funds and make much of a difference.
Sure, I could donate to postmarketOS, but they're doing quite well and I'd rather donate somewhere it's much more needed, especially projects that
- support mainline kernel development
- support open hardware efforts
