Defense attorneys now say there’s no evidence Mangione’s mother ever said this.

“In fact, all the discovery provided so far indicates that she did not make such a statement,” Mangione’s attorney, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, wrote in a Wednesday court filing.

Embarrassing. Let the man free, he's clearly innocent!

If they don't have a statement or testimony from her, then this really sounds like they are.... I don't even know. I'm tired. All news tires me now.
