My girlfriend and I laid in bed together. She looked nervous, and then asked me "Is it OK for me to say I love you now?" I told her it was, and that I love her too. I told her that I am happy she is part of my life, and she brings me joy, and she actually started crying tears of joy.

That's the cutest thing I've ever heard. Lmao.
That is adorable

I shared my art here yesterday and I genuinely didn't expect it to be so well received, now I am more motivated than ever to keep going and start creating an online presence for myself as an artist.

On another note, coming back to using Krita made me realize that I never really needed paid art creation software in the first place, at the end of the day it's all about your own skills.
Oh hey, I've used Krita, it's great.
Also I've notice a lot of people have been sharing their art here lately and I love it. Keep it up!
I think ive figured out how to set up a decent enough situation to record some music tomorrow. I have a nice mic but it needs a micro SD thsr is a decade old or so, if not the formatting is wrong, so figuring out how to use my shitty phone mic for now has been interesting. I figured out my diy technique when living somewhere I could be louder as well which made the process easier. I could record drums, play the drum recording super loud over a PA while I laid down the bass and just use that as a single track when mixing etc.im.gonna need more finesse in my apartment . Edit: ive also figured out how to make contact mics work with regular speaker wire so I dont need to splice old patch cords unless I wanna input through a patch connection like to a guitar amp. Speaker wire means I can use old stereo amps. Gonna look into a xylophone to hook up to wires. Hopefully it doesnt catch fire.
That sounds rad as fuck
There's a bunch of guides online for making contact mics and its pretty fun. You need a soldering iron but it's super basic stuff. Ive got an old guitar i wanna try wiring up to a broken piano, you gotta hit the strings directly with a mallet but if theyre magnetized I csn fo something eith those pickups
Tomorrow I'll be flying to Estonia, and then I'll take the bus to Russia to finally meet my girlfriend again. We're on a long distance relationship, and it's been so long since I saw her, I miss her so fucking much! The past few weeks I've been waking up daydreaming about cuddling her, she's intelligent and funny and a wonderful person and I'm head over heels for her. Finally, finally, finally!!!!
Despite having a similar climate i picturr eastern Europe cold to he an extra cuddly type. I think its the blue tint in movies
Previous visits have always been in summer, so I still haven't experienced the cuddly eastern cold. I've thought about it though, I'm a quite warm individual and I suffer cuddling in summer, so I'm very excited about these winter cuddles!
Got all my leftovers in a pot and made some real good pea soup+, ~~gonna make some burritos~~ potato wedges/food to go with it with some more food I got. My good vibes come from being with my loved ones eating some slop trs/image/ddf2c69d-10eb-4f5a-b537-8a4511505610.png)
I saw some cool trees on the weekend from this guy who's rewilding this creek (ironically it's probably mkre accurate to call it wilding, not rewilding, there wasnt a creek there until 1900 until the farmers tried digging an irrigation ditch (iirc???) but then it essentially collapsed in on itself with steep sides and over time became a natural water course, so the man who owns the property spent over a decade removing willows and blackberry thickets and revegetating
