Edit: I was attempting to point out that the US, especially under Trump, is an unreliable partner and not an entity worth making deals with if one one expects that deal to last or be in one's benefit. There's literally no part of comment about Ukraine's autonomy, dependency, or governance structure (past or present). I am aware of the coupes, and I appreciate the information being shared regardless for those that aren't.

Oh, how precious. You're still pretending Ukraine is an independent nation "choosing" to deal with the US, when in reality it is simply a US proxy whose sovereignty begins and ends at the Pentagon's discretion.
