This seems like a fun idea, if gimmicky. Good for flashy stage shows. I am very suspicious about this article, the manufacturer's website, and the e-ink screen manufacturer's website all having no videos of it though. The whole point is it changing rapidly, wouldn't they want to show that?
Yeah I dunno. Also funny it shows up in a laptop review magazine first.
A guitar-sized eink screen is still pretty pricey, but $2500 - while reasonable in the big scheme of things - is way too much for me.
Yeah all I could find was a video on Instagram with like 100 views. Seems weird.
I don't play but I want one because of the tech.
Not my favorite guitar body style, but cool nonetheless. If I were in a band, this might work, though.
so we now sell instruments without any mention of tone and sound quality.
Toan is all about the fingerboard.
I mean just think of the possibilities here. You can have a klon and a king of tone directly on this guitar! The toanal possibilities are staggering!
That's cool. But that shape will not look good with certain types of bands regardless of color.
