Tragic. The whole article is very bleak, and even the feeble attempt at inserting some copium here and there falls flat.

Indeed, now we see what the true cost of the war is for Ukraine, and unfortunately none of the people who architected all this will ever be held to account.

The women and children will do it, unless they allow the vultures to come in at great expense, in more ways than financial. Unless they look to China, and while that seems farcical on its face, I'm not sure it's outside the realm of possibility, is it? The United States reaction to this will be interesting, if that happens.
