Welcome to General Memes

Memes for the masses, chuckles for the chosen.

Rule 1: Be Civil, Not CruelWe’re here for laughs, not fights.

  • No harassment, dogpiling, or brigading
  • No bigotry (transphobia, racism, sexism, etc.)
  • Keep it light — argue in the comments, not with insults

Rule 2: No Forbidden FormatsNot every image deserves immortality on the memmlefield. That means:

  • No spam or scams
  • No porn or sexually explicit content
  • No illegal content (seriously, don’t ruin the fun)
  • NSFW memes must be properly tagged

If you see a post that breaks the rules, report it so the mods can take care of it.

Otherwise consider this your call to duty. Get posting or laughing. Up to you

Was born in '85 and it was Stephen King's IT miniseries when I was in elementary school.

Came here to say the same. Tim Curry > Bill Skarsgard.

Oddly enough, Signs messed me up more then The Ring.

Which is likely why I really hate The Silence from Dr Who.

Signs legit gave me nightmares, scared the shit out of me. Love the film!

Late 90s/early 00s kids with unsupervised internet access would challenge each other to watch videos from Rotten and Ogrish, and they are all fine

I watched Predator at a very young age and I turned out just fine blob-no-thoughts

In my country movies like Predator were on over-the-air TV in the afternoon and any kid any age could watch, I grew up thinking those movies were like "PG-10" or something - and I'm shocked the rest of the world think they are for adults.

I was born in the 70s and The Ring beat the living crap out of me.

13 Ghosts and Jeepers Creepers were not that bad. But the Ring gave me some days to recover as a young human.

I would like to add The Butterfly Effect. I was discussing it with someone recently and I brought up a fucked up scene, and he had completely blocked it out until just then.
