But that's what she's doing! Even though you're a cat and therefore stretchy af, to reach all the bits you want cleaned with your tongue, it helps to brace your shoulder against a vertical or upcurved surface. Some cats like a lap or a box or a bowl, some find that a doorjamb works for them.
