Looking around for some gun parts, and I find what looks like a decent deal and there's two of the same thing listed on the website, but one of them has a "-s" on the sku. So I look closely between the two pics... Fucking SS "bolts" on the safety selector.

I already keep my eyes open for anything that's made in Idaho, but this company (Foxtrot Mike) didn't seem to have any overt signs until I saw this. Other manufacturers, like Strike Industries, obviously are trying to make their logo look as close to the SS as possible while doing their childish plausible deniability. They dance around the issue with the rhetoric equivalent of "I'm not touching you" while holding their finger about 3mm from your face. And if you point it out, they'll laugh and call you crazy.

This shit is so annoying, they think they're so slick.

It's so prevalent that maybe we need a resource on companies that aren't catering to Nazis.

Just noticed Foxtrot Mike's logo... Top hat and magic wand with some playing cards underneath... A hand of 5, one face down, 8 of clubs, Ace of clubs, Ace of spades, 8 of spades. fry

To be charitable, 2 aces and 2 8s from the black cards are "the dead man's hand" supposedly what Wild Bill Hickok was holding when that guy domed him.

In Range TV fucks with KE Arms, so they're probably halfway decent.

they had a falling out recently over a Wired article of all things.

u/SinistralRifleman is Russel KE Arms

https://old.reddit.com/r/InRangeTV/comments/1ped0bv/can_someone_explain_to_me_how_the_invocation_of/

in particular

I stuck with InRangeTV and Karl for years, and sacrificed friends, business connections, income and credibility to make Brutality Matches what they were and smooth the road for InRangeTV in its goals and promote 2A4ALL.

The Wired Article undermined any normalization efforts and broader acceptance we were gaining. You want venues to run these things at? Understand they’re all owned or run by religious conservatives that are at best uneasy about your presence and the only reason we had those venues to begin with is because “Russ is a good dude” from being there competing for decades and donating hundreds of thousands of dollars in merchandise to their events.

sad, but understandable since the business is his main thing. unless he flips out and starts being a huge chud it's probably still one of the better companies, but iirc it's like two employees and some temps when people were panic-buying.

"When it comes time to shoot the fascists, they will vie with each other for the gun contract."

While it is disgusting (moreso than capitalist branding in general), I also see poetry in using their own tools in antifascist resistance. So be it, I say.

Some of these goobers probably believe their silly little symbols on guns will somehow protect them if it's in enemy hands.
