Doesnt have to the intention, its about the effect they have on you
I just mean I don't have musicians already ranked by that quality, since it's not something I seek out.

I'm not sure this is a question I've ever really considered, but the names that immediately spring to mind are ABBA, Enya, and Mama Cass. They're certainly music I've listened to as a buoy in the dark sometimes.
