No need for a new year. I’d be happy with a well used 2019.

They take 2026 back and you relive 2025.

I'll keep holding out as long as I have no choice, but just like previous years, I refuse to pay a dime for this bullshit I never asked for.

If you would like to cancel, you'll have to buy out your 3 year subscription that you got at a discounted rate.

It did feel like, 'HAPPY NEW- Oh... Right..." But even more than usual.

These huge white backgrounds are killing my eyes late at night on dark mode, bruh. They light up the entire room lol, I have to dodge my phone away so I don't wake up my wife with a flash grenade. Yeesh.

[–] CentipedeFarrier@piefed.social 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You should see if your phone has a white point reduction option. You might find it in the accessibility settings, if it does. I set mine to be pretty dark for night browsing, set it on a physical toggle (makes pictures very difficult to see, so nice to have a quick swap), and it’s an absolute lifesaver.

Still hate white backgrounds, but it’s considerably less painful.

I have my phone on the lowest brightness, and the option "Extra dim" turned on, and Night Light turned on. The sudden contrast is the issue.

These gratuitous whitespace posts are just annoying now. Might have to block this poster finally. It's been an issue for me for a while now. I'm not alone either, I know several others who have blocked them for this.

Thanks for trying to help though! ❤️

I'm tempted to see if that FFI virus thing is actually possible, because it seems slightly more humane.

Am I alone in immediately going dark here? Because my first thought is, unaliving yourself was always an option.
