Flip the picture right side up and it’s a cat standing on carpet holding up some cabinets.

I'm not surprised at all it's an orange cat. So preoccupied with whether or not he could, he didn't stop to think if he should.

My son called this Catlas. Like it

Cats never follow commands.

I'm 90% sure that's an asbestos ceiling.

This cat is protecting us from more than you know

[–] edg@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Popcorn ceilings haven't been made with asbestos since around 1982ish, in the US at least. They were still popular through the mid aughts so hopefully not asbestos.

[–] bbboi@feddit.uk 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Popcorn ceilings were very popular into the 2000s. The chances this is asbestos are pretty low.

[–] limelight79@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah we've got a few in our house that definitely aren't asbestos, just drywall mud or however they did it. Makes it much harder to hide a repair...

Came here to say the same thing lmao

It's carpet, image is rotated.
