Good call I had a demo of that on the dc but never played the full game.
Hans Asperger was a Nazi that sorted out "high functioning" autistics from ones to be sent to the gas chamber. Please remove this person's name from common usage. It is all autism spectrum and Asperger's syndrome hasn't been an accepted diagnosis for over a decade.
Also there was a Soviet doctor that discovered autism before that nazi fucker, ~~but I don't remember her name right now~~.
She was a Soviet Psychiatrist and her name was Grunya Sukhareva. Here's a r*ddit post on r/autism about her. Be warned the poster kind of blames feminism as a whole for the erasure of her, instead of understanding the issue is with liberal feminism and anti-communism.

Ikaruga was originally on the Sega NAOMI arcade board and the first console port was on Dreamcast.
