I collected some leaves and dry grass and stuck them in a bottle, as a little arrangement on my desk
bloomer
A place for optimism, relentless positivity, anti-doomerism, and snuggle sessions.
We're all in this together, and a better world is possible!
This is now also a space for organizing tips for our collective survival as we confront climate change and everything else. Still no doom-posting. We're here to work together, support each other, and boldly face the future.

No doom, no gloom, only bloom. There's plenty of room for doomerism elsewhere. This community is solely for having a positive outlook on the future and spreading good vibes.
-
Be kind to your fellow users. This also means no arguing in the comm. Arguments and negativity are not conducive to blooming. Constructive discussion is good. No interest-policing. Support your comrades in their joy!

Always share good news. We can't exactly enforce this one, but if you have good news, please share it with us! Keeping happiness and positivity to yourself is the twelfth type of liberalism.
these are sometimes teeming with life, you might get some cool critters along with them.
I inspected them on the walk back, and there was one ant (who I returned) and two moths who flew off when I got home. I haven't gotten up super close with them so will stick my nose closer soon
Thank you for returning the lonely ant (I ate him sorry I was hungry)
I keep racking up wins and I don't understand how. If a year ago someone had told me life would get better I'd have told them to cut out their lying tongue and choke on it. Oh wait, I did. Same with 3 months ago. And yet here we are. What the fuck. Life is weird.
And the nice thing, for me, is that life getting better has not dimmed my anger
I caught that the brake pads on my bike were more than overdue for replacement just in time!
Im about to get my first dahlia bloom of the season and im very excited about it.
