User settings, select block tab. Scroll down to block instances. Should work

I’ve never actually set an instance block, so maybe I’m wrong, but I always assumed that’s what they do? Block all posts, comments, & comms?

E: huh, still haven’t tested, but sounds like it only blocks comms thonk
