I was always very fond of my cats so I can relate with the pain of losing her. Matilda looks very noble and tranquil in this picture. It's a good choice of picture. Take care,

I like to think that when it's finally my time I'll have a wonderful reunion with all my beloved pets from over the years. It's never easy saying goodbye. That's an adorable picture of Matilda, I'm so sorry for your loss.

It’s so hard knowing that one day, they will go where we cannot follow. As much as we think we’re prepared, we never are. But it’s always helped me in the past to just simply accept that this was never going to be avoidable.

I'm so sorry. We had to put one of ours to sleep during the pandemic, walked out of the animal hospital with an empty carrier. They weren't usually letting people in at that time, but they made an exception for us given the situation. I can only wonder what the people waiting in other cars outside thought.
