I don't see it as offensive, but English isn't my first language either.
I don't think we have a term in Swedish for "on the spectrum" we would instead say NPF, Neuropsykiatriska funktionsnedsättning / funtionsvariation which means "Neuropsychiatric disability / functional variation".

I do get a little bit annoyed tho when people hesitate or feel uncomfortable to use the word autism, as if it would be a slur. But I understand they don't want to step on my or anyone else's toes.

Wait, am I reading correctly that it has no perfume?

Have you happened to see any with no or truly mild perfume? I've been looking on and off through the years without finding any

[–] CoffeeTails@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Same! One day I want to travel there and look at it in person

In sweden we have a statue of an old lady using her handbag as a weapon

If both have informed consent and preferably a stop/slow sign I see nothing wrong with it.

Those sound like normal things. At least where I live it’s considered weird not to drink alcohol and not having sex.
What do you consider obscene movies?

Simon is orange, and Smilla is blackish.
They were adopted at a cat rescue a couple of years ago when they were around 1 year old. They might be real siblings as they were found together as tiny kittens at a cat colony.

Hello! I have done a fuckup with my PC and need help fixing it. I'm confused.

I can't use programs that were downloaded via Microsoft Store, this is the error I get:

I reinstalled my PC a few days ago to start over on a clean slate so to speak as I've had it for around 5 years or so.

I tried to apply for a job with SSH and I think this might be where I fucked up, I couldn't get it to work and I tried this tutorial.
I think maybe step 5 might have affected more than that file because I'm pretty sure it was after that I started to get the warnings.

I have tried repairing and resetting the apps but it doesn't help, of course, I don't think the error is with the program itself.

I tried to restart my computer but it didn't help either.

EDIT: SOLVED
I had to backtrack on what I did on the tutorial I mentioned earlier (thanks @IntheMesh@lemmy.fmhy.ml ).

I then found out what actually went wrong!
When I have right-clicked on the file I haven’t first selected it with a left-click so I’ve edited the permissions on my user folder instead of the key. I didn’t realize I needed to left-click to select it as it shows a similar indication when I hover…

This is not nearly finished, but it's something at least.

What is my hair type?

How to measure hair lengths

What is my skin type?Oily skin.
Dry skin.
Sensitive skin.
Combination skin.
Normal skin.

How do I remove buildups from my hair? It's a schampoo used to remove buildups from your hair, it can be used for a while before you start to use low-/no-poo hair producs or on occations to do a cleansing. This schampoo needs to contain sulfates to cleans but it can't contain silicons, mineral olies or other products that will build up on your hair.

Hey everyone,
I [28F] need some advice on handling anxiety when job hunting.

Almost a week ago I finished school and I'm once again without work. I've been job hunting about 40-50% of my adult life and it has taken a huge toll on my mental health to the point where I'm barely able to apply for jobs anymore. I have gotten a few warnings over the years due to not applying to enough jobs. ( I live in Sweden btw )

I have tried taking breaks.
I have tried waiting for the anxiety to pass.
I have asked so many for advice but it's like they all give the same default answer. If their advice where enough, I would be a pro at job hunting.

I did get an autism diagnosis a few years back and I do feel better about myself, more confident and understanding of how I work so I think this time around will be different, but it's like the old anxiety still hangs around and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Please if you have any advice, I'd love to hear it.
